I so look forward to my first whole turkey dinner for Thanksgiving. Yes...I'm a traditionalist - at least this year.
As the day draws nearer, I realize that I still have these 4 stubborn pounds from 3 months ago that are hanging on my thighs and waist like flies on sticky tape.
So, today's Monday. I've decided to ration my calories for the next 3 days so I can enjoy all the fixins on Thanksgiving Day.
Here's what makes sense to me:
Breakfast: Whole Oatmeal (no packaged stuff) with 1 tablespoon raisins, cicinnamon, Truvia sweetner
Lunch: Can of tuna packed in water on crackers or bed of lettuce
Dinner: Romaine lettuce salad with Perdue Grilled Chicken breast slices & veggies
Snack: sugar-free chocolate pudding (yum)
Vary these combinations over the next couple of days. You get the idea about the types of foods to indulge in. Then on Thursday, you can have a little more + the sliver of cake & pie. Gobble, gobble!
