I don't know about you, but I'm so sick of over-promised and under-delivered hair care products. Right?! And who can read the ingredients on the back of the tube or bottle or jar?? Huh? Listen.... I failed chemistry 3 times in high school, so I'm totally clueless.
Unless you're going with a totally natural family of products, like SheaMoisture, you're pretty much herded into a corral of endless unpronounceable ingredients and products that don't quite live up to your expectation. Geez....everyone wants a shiny, strong, healthy mane. It's an image breaker!
Well, what you eat is a thousand times more important than the product you use on hair. According to Webmd.com (one of our favorite sources for medical info), there are 10 foods that can help hair continue to grow strong and healthy. If you've always had thin hair, no matter what you take....you'll always have thin hair. You can, however, keep hair from getting thinner.
Eat these foods like you've just been released from captivity:
Ahhh....vanity. Who isn't at least a little vain?
I received the most precious compliment a few days ago from a total stranger. The scene at Starbucks can introduce an interesting cast of characters...from the soccer mom to the overdone 70-ish has-been starlet that still has the aura of a 30 year old....only she's really 75. She's rockin' a micro-mini shirt with huge platform sandals; every color, technique and brand from the Walgreen's make-up counter. and hair teased to the ceiling. Ok, maybe I exaggerated the hair thing. She's clad in years of sun damage and has a road map of curvy highways written all over her once pretty face. Her crows feet really look like....well, crows feet.
Anyway.... she told me that I couldn't possibly remember Elvis Presley. Elvis Presley?!? Really? Nice.
I went home that evening and took a good look into the mirror. My Starbucks savior hadn't noticed my own crows feet. Whew!
You can avoid crows feet or at least, reduce their appearance.
