Let's face it... no one wants to be left out of a party that involves a room full of muscle-bound men. Super Bowl Sunday is less than a week away and if you want to fit in (and hold your own) you'll need to be in football "lingo" shape.
So ladies, we're gonna give you a couple of quick lessons to help you enjoy the testosterone, touchdowns and score a few points of your own.

TO-DO LIST Before Kick-Off
The whole world seems to be talking about the wonders of meditation theses days... spiritual "oneness"....the power to harness creative energy.....getting in tuned with your soul....you know, that kind of stuff. Heck, I've got loads of friends who start each and every day with 20-minutes of peaceful, purposeful, calming thoughtlessness. I've got books, audio cd's and a video collection that teaches how to gain peace and inner sanctity through meditation. The only problems for me is....I just can't seem to "get it". Can't empty my thoughts. Can't concentrate. Can't tell if I'm more enlightened or just simply sleepier.
I attended a workshop a couple of years ago with Russell Simmons, the mega mogul guru. He was promoting his new book, "Super Rich". Russell shared how he took baby steps to gaining inner peace and prosperity through the power of meditation. Now, it's part of his every breath and the foundation of h. The entire audience of about 300 people participated in a 5-minute meditative session - just pure concentration on breathing. So, for 5 minutes I concentrated.. on what I was having for dinner; how much money was in my wallet and my last 4 debit card purchases; what I was wearing for my date on Saturday night - the little black dress or the gold sweater with the peek-a-boo cleavage; and what time is this thing over?
It was useless for me. No hope. But I keep trying. Seems that meditation is the root to beauty, glamor, prosperity, love, peace and all that is revered. Now if that's what we all aim for, why aren't we all doing it??

Welcome to the New Year and hopefully a fresh start to a "new and improved" you. With 2013 resolution lists being carefully planned out, seems that the #1 commitment nationwide is to......lose weight. A no brainer right? But how many years in a row have you made this same ole' promise to yourself? So.....what happened in 2012? 2011? 2010?
