Ever since I hit the 50 year old mark, I've had the hardest time remembering the simplest things...what I came into the room for; where I purchased my favorite pair of shoes that I wear to death or the name of the actor I swore I'd have a torrid love affair with if we could just made eye contact. Gee, I feel like my mother, already! I used to be an avid crossword puzzler, but who's got time to do that anymore? So, I'm now seeking a more natural, holistic approach to getting my sanity back.
Alas, there are foods that are supposed to help me shake off the amnesia. Luckily, they're all the fruits and veggies I like. So if you want to regain your memory and be able to recall what you did on August 14, 1973 at 7: 15 pm, take this journey with me. Let me know if there are any changes in your ability to do calculus again.
Memory Boosting Foods:
Best Vegetables: broccoli, brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, collard greens, mustard greens, kale, spinach, onions, leeks red beets
Best Fruits: berries (all varieties) red, black, purple grapes, apricots, apples with the skin, black currants, plums
So, no big ole' horse pills...just good healthy veggies and fruits. I'll be able to boost my memory and lose weight. I love this already. I'll keep you posted on my progress. Off to the supermarket now to pick up some.....what am I getting again?
